Address: Hunneberg 121, 468 21 Vargön
Join us on an exciting adventure in west Swedens' only ecopark! Along with a guide you are able to get to know more about the fascinating animal - the beaver - and his life on Hunneberg.
By canoe we are able to approach the shy beaver. Our skilled and dedicated guide will tell us more about this great architect and his constructions.
Did you know that beavers can sense smells in the water? Or that they can build huts which are
two meters high?
The best time of year to see beavers is during the summer season, May to September. The museum offers fixed departures during summer advance booking is however required. The safari takes approximately 3-4 hours.
You must be able to swim!
As the tour demands us to be quiet and still for longer periods of time, we do not recommend this tour to children under the age of 7.
(Of course this is individual and if you know this won't be a problem for your child then younger children are also welcome on the tour.)
